You don't always need a QR code. Sharing your review link directly via text message or email can be just as effective. Here's how to do it right.

## **Finding Your Review Link**

Your review link is available in several places throughout your dashboard:

On your main dashboard, each business card shows your review link with a copy button.

At the top of any business page, your review link is displayed with a copy icon.

On the QR Code page, your review link appears below the QR code preview.

Your link looks something like: gglr.me/your-business or a random string like gglr.me/abc123 if you didn't create a custom slug.

## **Sharing via Text Message**

Text messages have very high open rates, making them one of the most effective ways to collect reviews. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Copy your review link by clicking the copy icon next to it in your dashboard.

Step 2: Open your phone's messaging app and create a new message to your customer.

Step 3: Write a friendly message and paste your link. Keep it short and personal.

## **Text Message Templates**

Here are some effective text message templates you can copy and customize:

Post-Service: Hi \[Name\]! Thanks for visiting \[Business Name\] today. We'd love to hear about your experience: \[your-link\]

Follow-Up: Hey \[Name\]! Hope you're enjoying your \[product/service\]. Would you mind sharing your experience? \[your-link\] Thanks!

Simple and Direct: Hi! If you have a moment, we'd appreciate your feedback on your recent visit: \[your-link\] Thank you!

Personal Touch: Hi \[Name\], it was great seeing you today! Your feedback means a lot to us: \[your-link\]

## **Best Practices for Text Messages**

Timing: Send within 24 hours of the transaction or service while the experience is fresh. Don't wait a week.

Personalization: Use the customer's name if you have it. Mention something specific about their visit or purchase.

Be Brief: Keep your message under 160 characters if possible. People skim texts quickly.

Don't Pressure: Never beg for 5 stars or pressure customers. Simply ask for honest feedback.

Get Permission: Only text customers who have given you their phone number for this purpose. Respect privacy laws.

Include Opt-Out: For bulk messages, include 'Reply STOP to opt out' to comply with regulations.

## **Sharing via Email**

Email is great for following up after a purchase or service. You can include more detail than in a text message:

Step 1: Copy your review link from your dashboard.

Step 2: Compose an email to your customer.

Step 3: Make your link clickable by hyperlinking it to text like 'Share Your Feedback' or 'Leave a Review'.

## **Email Templates**

Basic Template: Subject: How was your experience at \[Business Name\]? Body: Hi \[Name\], Thank you for choosing \[Business Name\]! We hope you had a great experience. If you have a minute, we'd love to hear your feedback. \[Share Your Feedback - link to your review link\] Your input helps us improve and helps others discover us. Thank you! \[Your Name\] \[Business Name\]

Post-Purchase: Subject: Thanks for your purchase! Body: Hi \[Name\], Thanks for purchasing \[product/service\] from us! We hope you're enjoying it. We'd appreciate it if you could take a moment to share your experience: \[Leave a Review - link\] This helps us serve you and others better. Best regards, \[Your Name\]

## **Best Practices for Emails**

Clear Subject Line: Make it obvious what the email is about. Don't use misleading subjects.

Make Link Obvious: Use a button or clearly hyperlinked text. Don't hide your review link in a wall of text.

Keep It Short: People skim emails. Get to the point quickly.

Professional Formatting: Use proper grammar, spacing, and your business email signature.

Mobile-Friendly: Most people read emails on phones. Keep paragraphs short and use clear buttons.

## **Adding to Email Signature**

Add your review link to your email signature so every email you send includes it. This is a passive way to collect reviews from all your email communications. In your email signature, add a line like: 'Love working with us? Share your experience!' and link it to your review page. Keep the text subtle and professional so it doesn't overpower your signature.

## **When to Use Text vs Email**

Use Text: For immediate follow-up same day or next day, for casual businesses, for younger demographics, when you need a quick response.

Use Email: For professional services, for detailed follow-ups, when you want to include more information or images, for B2B businesses, when customers prefer email.

Best of Both: Use both! Send a text 24 hours after service, then follow up with an email 3-5 days later if they haven't responded. Don't be pushy, just give them multiple opportunities.
