How to Customize Your Review Funnel Colors

Last updated: 1/31/2026

Make your review funnel match your brand by customizing the colors. Here's how to change the appearance of your review page.

Accessing Color Settings

Step 1: Select the business you want to customize from the dropdown menu in the sidebar.

Step 2: Click on 'Customize' in the sidebar menu.

Step 3: Click on the 'Appearance' tab at the top of the Customize section. This is where you'll find all color and visual customization options.

Understanding the Color Options

RatingFlow gives you control over three main colors:

Primary Color: This is your brand's main color. It's used for the stars when customers select them, the submit button, and other interactive elements. Choose a color that represents your brand and stands out. The default is a purple-blue color.

Background Color: This is the background color of your review page. Most businesses use white or a very light color for maximum readability. The default is white.

Text Color: This is the color of all text on your review page, including the welcome message and form labels. Most businesses use black or dark gray for best readability. The default is black.

How to Change Colors

Method 1 - Color Picker: Click on the color square next to each color option. A color picker will appear where you can click to select any color you want. Move the slider to adjust brightness and saturation.

Method 2 - Hex Code: If you know your brand's exact color codes, you can type them directly into the hex code field next to each color option. Hex codes look like this: #7728F4 (always start with a # symbol followed by 6 characters).

As you change colors, the Live Preview on the right side of the screen will update immediately so you can see exactly how your changes will look to customers.

Using Quick Presets

Below the color options, you'll find Quick Presets buttons. These are pre-designed color schemes that you can apply with one click:

B&W (Black and White): A classic, minimalist design with black text on white background.

Blue: A professional blue theme perfect for corporate businesses.

Inverted: Dark background with light text for a modern, eye-catching look.

Subtle: Soft, muted colors for an elegant appearance.

You can click any preset to apply it instantly, then further customize individual colors if needed.

Best Practices for Color Selection

Match your brand: Use your business's official brand colors to create a consistent experience.

Ensure contrast: Make sure there's enough contrast between text and background for easy reading. Dark text on light backgrounds (or vice versa) works best.

Test on mobile: Use your phone to scan your QR code and check how the colors look on a mobile device, since most customers will access your funnel this way.

Keep it simple: Don't use too many bright or clashing colors. A clean, simple design helps customers focus on leaving their review.

Saving Your Changes

After you're happy with your colors, click the 'Save Changes' button at the top right of the page. Your new colors will take effect immediately for all future visitors to your review page.
