How to Show or Hide Your Business Logo
Your business logo helps customers recognize your brand on the review page. Here's how to upload, change, or hide your logo.
Understanding Business Image
The business image (also called business logo) appears at the top of your review page, above your business name. It's a circular image that helps customers identify your business and adds a professional touch to your review funnel. By default, RatingFlow displays your logo, but you can hide it if you prefer a cleaner, text-only design.
How to Upload or Change Your Logo
Step 1: Go to the Customize section from your sidebar.
Step 2: Click on the 'Appearance' tab.
Step 3: Scroll down to the 'Business Image' section. You'll see a preview of your current logo (if you have one uploaded) and a checkbox that says 'Show business image'.
Step 4: Click the 'Change' button below your current logo preview. A file picker will open.
Step 5: Select an image file from your computer. The image should be your business logo or a representative image.
Step 6: The image will upload and you'll see it immediately in the Live Preview on the right. The logo appears in a circle, so square images work best.
Step 7: Click 'Save Changes' to apply your new logo.
How to Hide Your Logo
If you prefer not to show a logo on your review page:
Step 1: Go to Customize > Appearance > Business Image section.
Step 2: Uncheck the box next to 'Show business image'. The checkbox should be empty.
Step 3: Look at the Live Preview - your logo will disappear and only your business name will show at the top.
Step 4: Click 'Save Changes'.
To show your logo again, simply check the box and save.
Best Practices for Business Logos
Use a square image: Since the logo displays in a circle, square images (512x512 pixels or similar) work best. Rectangular images may be cropped awkwardly.
Keep it simple: Logos with lots of small details may not be readable when displayed in a circle. Simple, bold logos work best.
Use high resolution: Upload a clear, high-quality image. Aim for at least 512x512 pixels. Blurry or pixelated logos look unprofessional.
Consider your background: If your logo has a white background and your review page also has a white background, you might want to use a version of your logo with a transparent background, or add a colored border to your logo.
Test on mobile: Most customers will see your review page on their phones. After uploading your logo, scan your QR code with your phone to make sure it looks good on a small screen.
When to Hide Your Logo
Most businesses benefit from displaying their logo, as it helps with brand recognition and looks more professional. However, you might choose to hide your logo if:
You don't have a logo yet and prefer a clean, text-only design.
Your logo doesn't work well in a circular format and you can't easily create an alternative version.
You want an extremely minimal, distraction-free review page.
Your business name is very recognizable on its own and doesn't need visual branding.
Removing a Logo
If you want to permanently remove your logo (not just hide it), look for a 'Remove' button next to the 'Change' button in the Business Image section. Clicking this will delete the uploaded logo from your account. You can always upload a new one later.
