Understanding Business Seats and Volume Discounts

RatingFlow uses a seat-based pricing model that gives you flexibility to manage multiple businesses. Here's everything you need to know about seats and how volume discounts work.

What is a Business Seat?

A business seat is a slot in your RatingFlow account that allows you to manage one business location. Each business you add to your account uses one seat. Your base subscription includes 1 business seat with lifetime access for a one-time payment.

Each seat includes: unlimited reviews, full customization options, QR code generation, analytics dashboard, all integrations, spam protection, and lifetime updates.

How Many Seats Do I Have?

You can check how many seats you have and how many are in use in several places:

On your main dashboard, you'll see a card showing 'Seats Used' with a fraction like '1/6' meaning you're using 1 out of 6 available seats.

On the Billing page, you'll see your total seats available and which ones are currently in use.

When adding a new business, you'll see a message like '5 seats remaining' at the top of the form.

Purchasing Additional Seats

Each additional business seat costs $47 (or your local pricing) as a one-time payment. There are no monthly fees - you pay once and get lifetime access for that seat. To purchase additional seats:

Step 1: Go to the Billing page from the Account menu in the sidebar.

Step 2: In the 'Choose Your Plan' section, use the slider to select how many business seats you want in total. The system will calculate how many additional seats you need beyond what you already have.

Step 3: Review the order summary which shows the per-seat price and total cost. Volume discounts are applied automatically.

Step 4: Click 'Purchase' to complete your order. Your new seats will be available immediately.

Volume Discounts Explained

RatingFlow offers automatic volume discounts when you manage multiple businesses. The more seats you purchase, the lower the per-seat price becomes. Here's how the discounts work using an example:

1-4 seats: $47 per seat (0% discount)

5-9 seats: 10% discount - You save $4.70 per seat

10-14 seats: 15% discount - You save $7.05 per seat

15-49 seats: 20% discount - You save $9.40 per seat

50+ seats: 25% discount - You save $11.75 per seat

These discounts apply automatically when you purchase seats. You don't need to enter a coupon code or request the discount - it's calculated based on your total number of seats.

Unused Seats

If you have purchased seats that you're not currently using, they remain available in your account. You can add new businesses anytime to fill those seats. There's no time limit or expiration - your seats are yours for life.
