How to Pause or Activate Your Review Funnel

Sometimes you may need to temporarily stop collecting reviews, or you might want to reactivate a paused funnel. Here's how to control your funnel's status.

Understanding Funnel Status

Your review funnel can be in one of two states:

Active (Green): Your funnel is live and accepting reviews. When customers click your link or scan your QR code, they'll see your review page and can leave feedback.

Paused (Gray): Your funnel is temporarily disabled. Customers who try to access your review link will see a message that reviews are not being collected at this time.

How to Pause Your Funnel

Step 1: Select the business you want to pause from the dropdown menu in the sidebar.

Step 2: Look at the top of your dashboard page, next to your business name. You'll see a toggle switch labeled 'Funnel On' with a green indicator.

Step 3: Click on the toggle switch to turn it off. The switch will turn gray, and your funnel status will change to paused. The change takes effect immediately.

How to Activate Your Funnel

To turn your funnel back on, simply click the toggle switch again. It will turn green, and your status will change to 'Active'. Your review funnel will immediately start accepting reviews again.

When to Pause Your Funnel

You might want to pause your funnel in these situations:

Temporary Business Closure: If you're closed for renovations, vacation, or seasonal reasons, pause your funnel so customers don't try to leave reviews during that time.

Major Changes: If you're making significant changes to your business model or location and want to wait before collecting more reviews.

Updating Information: While you're updating your business details or customizing your funnel, you might want to pause it temporarily to avoid customers seeing incomplete information.

What Happens to Existing Data

Pausing your funnel does not delete any existing reviews or analytics data. All your previous reviews, statistics, and settings remain intact. When you reactivate your funnel, everything will be exactly as you left it. The pause function simply stops new reviews from being collected temporarily.
